What is in the box
One bag each of freeze-dried pink salmon, freeze-dried shrimp and freeze-dried blue-lipped mussels. Every bag has a single ingredient, and the listing says they suit dogs and cats. Sniff & Shift LLC freeze-dries all three in small batches in Pennsylvania. The salmon and the shrimp are raw before freeze-drying; the mussels are blanched first. How the three differ
In our own words, from the sampler listing:
- Salmon: the softest bag. It comes apart in flakes, which suits a small mouth.
- Shrimp: keeps its curled shape and crunches loudly.
- Blue-lipped mussels: the tiniest pieces and the strongest smell, and the store finds cats often pick them.

Contains fish and shellfish. If anyone in your home, pet or person, has a reaction to shellfish, this box is not for them. Treats, not a complete diet. Keep fresh water out, watch while your pet eats and wash your hands after handling. Reseal bags and store them cool and dry. Ask your veterinarian before introducing anything new.

The sampler's price matches the store's free shipping threshold, so a sampler order needs nothing added to ship free. The listing also says the box costs less than the three bags bought one at a time. We have not typed a saving because the single-bag prices are not on the sampler listing.
